Russell Jackson

Russell Jackson was awarded the Higher Certificate in Building Studies in 1981 and has undertaken training on the Building Regulations. Russell has 45 years worth of knowledge and experience in the Construction Industry.
In addition to his work in Building Control and Building Surveying Russell has also made a contribution to the construction Industry with his patent drainage device in 1992. This is now licensed to Polypipe Ltd and marketed as the “anti-splash” gully range.
Away from the work place he enjoys music (previously a singer in folk band “Farmstead” between 1972 and 1976), Farming, Travel, and Motor Sport. Russell has been heavily involved in the local community through being a Local Councillor and Chairman of Bentham Traders Association- being directly responsible for the establishment of the Christmas Town Lights and Late Night Shopping between 1982 and 1992.
